Transportation
Moab is located about a four hour drive from Salt Lake City, Utah, and about two hours from Grand Junction, Colorado. Commercial airlines serve Salt Lake City, Grand Junction and Moab directly.
We encourage you to fly directly into Moab or you may want to consider renting a car to travel from Salt Lake City or Grand Junction. The latter option could be advantageous because it will make it easier to explore the surrounding natural beauty. If you are trying to share a ride you can share your travel plans with other participants on line at Travel plans.
The conference intends to arrange vans for transportation between Salt Lake City and Moab on Morning of Wednesday, May 30, and back again on Saturday, June 2. If you are interested in a place on one of these vans, please let us know in your registration information. We are in the process of negotiating a conference room rate with a hotel in SLC for the nights before and after the conference (details on the hotel and negotiated rate will be forthcoming).
Other access is by commercial van services and by private or rental car from Salt Lake or Grand Junction.
