Current Projects

Math for America Utah The University of Utah and Utah State University have partnered in the Math for America Utah program recruiting and training teachers, and providing professional development and growth opportunities for inservice teachers. MfA-Utah

Utah State Mathematics Teacher Education Partnership A partnership including Utah State University, Logan City School District, and Cache County School District devoted to improving mathematics teacher preparation locally and nationally. The Utah State partnership is an active team in the MTE-Partnership of the APLU's Science and Mathematics Teacher Imperative. Our current research project aims to develop mathematics or statistics courses for secondary mathematics teachers based on the MET II recommendations, incorporating integrative learning strategies that combine mathematics and pedagogy. Emphasis is on working collaboratively among schools, universities, mathematicians, and educators.
