Mathematics and Statistics Education
Journal Club

Spring Semester, 2007
Thursdays 1:45 pm
LUND HALL Faculty Lounge

The purpose of the Journal Club is to introduce participants to Mathematics and Statistics Education research by providing an opportunity to read, present, and discuss some noteworthy papers in the field.

Not sure what to read or where to start? The following link goes to a nice listing of Math/Stat Education journals : RUME. If you're interested in undergraduate mathematics teaching you may also enjoy PRIMUS. We intend to maintain a list of our favorite journals and favorite articles. We may also institute a Journal Watch in the future so members of the club can be in charge of following the tables of contents of particular journals to let other club members know about articles of interest as they are published.

For more information or to contribute ideas and feedback for our club, please contact Brynja Kohler.
