I became an Assistant Professor in the Utah State University Mathematics Department in the Fall of 2009. Previously, I was a postdoc at Georgia Tech in Atlanta and a researcher at the Max-Plank Institute in Germany. My research interests are in low dimensional topology, quantum groups and Lie theory. Jessica Purcell and I are organizing the Moab Topology Conference.
