Mathematics and Statistics
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics realizes that many students admitted to Utah State Unversity may need a review of basic mathematics before enrolling in their next mathematics or statistics course. Students can choose to enroll in a math refresher course to review basic mathematics skills from the content included in Math 0900 Elements of Algebra up through Math 1220 Calculus II. If you are interested in enrolling in a Math Refresher Course and have further questions please feel free to contact the Math Advising Office in ANSC 117 or contact the Math Advising Office at 1-435-797-0268. Please leave a voice message if you do not get through directly. The academic advisors and peer advisors will respond to your phone call in the order received and will help you through the process.

Registering for a Math Refresher Course

The cost of the Math Refresher Course is $100 and includes 2 placement exams, one at the beginning and one at the end (no credit awarded).
Dates: Monday, June 3rd through Wednesday July 17th.

There will also be a refresher course the week before Fall semester that will run from August 19th - August 23rd. The cost is $100 and includes 2 placement exams.

Math Refresher Course Materials:

The following materials have been provided by the instructors teaching the Math Refresher Course. They include the content area (for example, Math 0900 Elementary Algebra) and the instructors name. These materials are freely available to anyone who would like to review the mathematics content in the Math Refresher Course. Students enrolled in The Math Refresher Course should download and print these materials for use during and after the course.
