The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers two courses via concurrent enrollment. Qualified students may take Math 1050 College Algebra and/or Math 1060 Trigonometry while in high school to obtain college credit before enrolling in college at USU or other institutions. This web site has been created to give students, parents, high school administrators, and instructors information related to concurrent enrollment in mathematics courses offered through USU. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics currently has not approved any other concurrent enrollment mathematics or statistics courses. Students may choose a variety of options for obtaining credit for mathematics courses taken while in high school. These include AP calculus examination scores, transfering credit hours from other institutions, or through taking the Math Placement Test administered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
